It stands to reason that plus size blouses are more prominent than regular blouses. But not all manufacturers use the same systems to indicate what precise size their shirts, tops, tunics or blouses are. This may make it rather difficult to choose a top that fits, peculiarly when you are buying clothes from virtual stores. There are two main sizing systems that you will find when you look for plus size blouses, plus size tunics and other larger items of clothing. These rely on what I commonly term either the W (wide) or X (extra) factor. The one (the W factor) operates according to wider cuts and bears the number W after the dimension. So for example on the lower end of the scale, a size 14W will be more spectacular than an usual 14. But bear in mind that you likewise need to be conscious of where (in terms of emplacement or country) plus-size blouses were made. US 14 is not the same as a UK 14 – which is in general two sizes more prominent (in other words a size 16). This may be very confusing, but in general makers do state on the label whether it is a US size or a UK size, and a lot of them specify both sizes. When it comes to plus sizes, they in general talk when it comes to extra huge (XL), extra extra huge (XXL) and bigger, adding an further and added X as is needed. The larger you are, the more XXXXXs you need on your plus size blouse or tunic label. When it comes to ordering from virtual stores, you need to be sure that you will get what you are ordering in terms of dimensions.
