Raglan Sleeves: Raglan Sleeve is a sleeve that goes diagonally from the neckline to the underarm. Puff Sleeves: As the name suggests, the sleeve puffs. It is basically collected either at the armhole or the cuff or both. Poet Sleeves: A poetical sleeve is a full sleeve with pleats or gathers at the upper arm and in general cuffed or fitted at the forearm. Leg o’ Mutton Sleeves: A leg o’ mutton sleeve is an exceedingly wide sleeve that gathers over the upper arm and tapers from the elbow to the wrist. It is in the shape of the leg of mutton. Lantern Sleeves: Lantern sleeve is a full, gathered sleeve attached to a straight sleeve. The length may be either long or short. Kimono Sleeves: Kimono sleeves are in general loose, reaching anyplace from the elbow to the wrist. Juliet Sleeves: A Juliet sleeve is a long sleeve that puffs at the top. with the lower portion fitted. Bell Sleeves: The style of sleeves is such that it gathers at the shoulder and flares at the cuff. The effect is that of a bell. It may be both long or short. Dolman Sleeves: Dolman sleeve is a long sleeve that starts at the armhole, tapers towards the elbow and then fits tightly till the wrist. Bracelet Sleeves: Bracelet sleeve is not one thing but a structured fit that hits just above the wrist rather than just beneath the wrist. Bishop Sleeves: Bishop Sleeve is such that it is fuller at the bottom than the top, and assembled from the shoulder to the wrist. |
